I think you should just man up and sleep under a tarp on the ground, maybe just a blanket or something... I promise it won't rain....

Your Toyota trailer? What if if uncontrollably accelerates? Anchor those floor mats in it! :D

People rib me about my 4runner doing that unintended acceleration. I just say that it has enough trouble with intended acceleration so not worried about it.

If a trailer could push up a hill that would be an awesome trailer! (as long as it stopped pushing when going down the hill).

Hmmm, how about a little electric over hydraulic drive system on the trailer axle... Flip of the switch on the dash in the tow rig, zing, 6 wheel drive!

LOL, I asked my parents if they wanted to take the liberty up here for the week. They were excited about it until my dad asked if it would be camping and sleeping on the ground every night... They are not into the whole adventure thing as much as they used to be. Oh well :P

Introduce them to the wonders of a Therm-A-Rest mattress. Compact, lightweight, self-inflates. Every bit as adjustable as a sleep-number bed. As good as home:

I'm confused. I thought the floor mats were supposed to attach to the drag-behind vehicle anchor...? Well, I guess that would explain my substantially reduced fuel economy. But it looks cool!

We're in too!

Would it let too much out of bag to give start and maybe end of trip? This for those of us looking to add to our " UP experience".

Looking forward to the trip already. Got new tires!

How about "intended start and finish*"

*subject to change..

?? :D

(we do have the general idea of the overall trip, as we've discussed it at length, but you all know how this stuff can change!)
